Successful Inclusion in the Jewish Community

Marcel's motto is "Every child can have a Bar or Bat Mitzvah."

He not only says it, but he also makes it happen, regardless of the learning challenges a student may have.
By being called up to the Torah, every Jewish child takes a place as a full participant in synagogue life. A proper Bar or Bat Mitzvah education is essential to give your child the skills needed to participate with confidence as an active member of your synagogue.

Marcel has successfully taught Bar Mitzvah students with a variety of specials needs from autism to developmental delays, dyslexia to emotional issues, head injuries to cognitive processing disorders and ADD/ADHD to executive-functioning challenges.

He's made presentations at synagogues and institutions of higher learning on the subject. His proven learning strategies -- along with patience, enthusiasm and determination -- will enable your child to shine.

Marcel's background in special education and Judaic studies and his years of experience teaching Bar and Bat Mitzvah students translates into his students surpassing all expectations on their big day. The same pedagogical expertise he uses to teach about Judaism and Israel through music, dance and social and recreational programming as the programme director of Toronto's Kadima Centre are utilized to ensure your child is prepared.

Marcel also makes learning fun for his Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. They look forward to their lessons and discovering that they can master Hebrew and Torah reading.

If you don't believe your child will ever be able to have a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, think again.
